Three days before the end of the championship (4 for Brest, Strasbourg, Lens and PSG), destinies are beginning to take shape and trajectories to become clearer… just like the debates around individual rewards which are now becoming a little clearer. Like every season, the UNFP revealed the names of all the nominees in its different categories.

Crowned “best player in Ligue 1” last year, will Ballon d’Or Ousmane Dembélé win a new trophy? There will probably still be competition this year. Among the technicians selected for the “best coach of the season” trophy, Luis Enrique is obviously a candidate for his own succession. Like last season, among the hopefuls, Désiré Doué will probably defend his title just like Luis Enrique who will undoubtedly be a candidate for his own succession.

The nominees live:

Now for the nominees for the title of best goalkeeper in Ligue 1. And there is no PSG goalkeeper in this list. Matvey Safonov is not eligible since he must have played at least 15 Ligue 1 matches (13 matches played for the Russian). On the other hand, we find Brice Samba, Penders, Grief and Koffi in this list.

  • Brice Samba (Rennes)
  • Dominik Grief (OL)
  • Mike Penders (Strasbourg)
  • Hervé Koffi (Angers)
  • Robin Risser (Lens)

The UNFP now comes nominated for the title of best goalkeeper in D1 Arkema. We still find FC Nantes with goalkeeper Burns or even Endler, goalkeeper of OL Lyonnes and Wahl of RC Strasbourg.

  • Burns (Nantes)
  • Wahl (Strasbourg)
  • Endler (OL Lyonnes)
  • Picaud (Fleury 91)
  • Chavas (Paris FC)

Among the women too, there will be a great battle for the title of best young player with Bethi, Yohannes from OL Lyonnes or even Ebayilin from PSG.

  • Bethi (Nantes)
  • Yohannes (OL Lyonnes)
  • Ebayilin (PSG)
  • Rouquet (Montpellier)
  • Calba (Nantes)

No real surprise in the lists of the best prospects in Ligue 1. Like last season, Ayyoub Bouaddi is applying in the category of “best hope in Ligue 1”. The Lille player will be in competition with last year’s winner, Désiré Doué, but also Joao Neves, Warren Zaire-Emery and… Barco from RC Strasbourg.

  • Désiré Doué (PSG)
  • Joao Neves (PSG)
  • Warren Zaire-Emery (PSG)
  • Barco (Strasbourg)
  • Ayyoub Bouaddi (LOSC)
