Hit in the thigh in the final minutes of the match, Achraf Hakimi could miss the return match in Bavaria next week.

If the first round between PSG and Bayern on Tuesday entered the annals of the Champions League thanks to its nine goals scored and the incredible spectacle delivered by the two teams, the defenses were put to the test. This is particularly true, on the Parisian side, of the central hinge Marquinhos-Pacho but Achraf Hakimi, in his right lane, also suffered.

The Moroccan faced Luis Diaz and the Colombian, author of the fourth Munich goal after playing Marquinhos in the penalty area, was a real poison for the former Madrilenian, who too often left his captain one on one against the Bavarian winger.

The African champion, however, did not spare himself and the intensity he put into his pressing in the last minutes of the match is the best illustration of this. An intensity for which he paid a high price since he injured his thigh and left his teammates with ten men.

Simple cramps?

Luis Enrique having made his three waves of changes, Achraf Hakimi certainly remained on the field, but could no longer move, leaving Senny Mayulu, who had returned a few minutes earlier in place of Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, to hold the right lane while Bayern threw their last strength into equalizing.

One week before the return match, there is inevitably concern on the Parisian side. Marquinhos nevertheless made reassuring remarks about his teammate. Because according to the Brazilian defender, more than a muscle injury, it could simply be cramps. ” I don’t know. We didn’t have much information on the ground. He told us on the pitch that it was hamstring or calf cramps. We will have more information in the coming days,” he confided to the microphone of Canal+.

A first verdict confirmed by Luis Enrique. “I think it’s cramps. At this level of intensity, this is normal. I hope that for Hakimi it will just be bad cramps”whispered the Parisian coach into the Movistar microphone.
