There is concern around Achraf Hakimi after the Champions League semi-final first leg between PSG and Bayern (5-4), Tuesday evening at the Parc des Princes. The first clash between these two superb teams was exceptional with the reigning European champions leading 5-2 at the start of the second half, thanks to doubles from Khvicha Kvaratskhelia (24th and 56th) and Ousmane Dembélé (45th+5 and 58th), before the match ended in favor of the Bavarians.
Dayot Upamecano (65th) and Luis Diaz (68th) allow Bayern to leave Paris with a 5-4 defeat, a week before the return leg in Munich on Wednesday evening. Michel Olise (scorer in the 41st) and his teammates tried to equalize at the end of the match and Luis Enrique’s players didn’t give up, like Achraf Hakimi who made a perhaps fatal effort in the 89th minute of play.
Hakimi collapsed on the field holding the hamstring of his left thigh, without behaving as if he were suffering from a temporary cramp. The Moroccan captain got up and insisted on returning to the playing area while PSG had made all their changes.

In case of muscular discomfort, a rest of a few days will be necessary. In the event of a minor injury, Hakimi may not resume in time for the match in Bavaria, especially as the 2026 World Cup approaches. It was a dirty tackle by Luis Diaz during a first PSG-Bayern match last November that caused the star player of the Atlas Lions to miss the start of the CAN…
Note that at the end of the match, PSG played without a right side since Senny Mayulu, sent by Hakimi in defense (by gestures), did not stay in his place against a Bayern team that was nevertheless on the attack. At the final whistle, the player trained at Real Madrid went straight to the locker room while his teammates greeted the public…
