Nicolas Jackson’s loan to Bayern Munich, concluded last summer from Chelsea, should not turn into a permanent transfer. Arriving in the Premier League in 2023 after his time at Villarreal, the 24-year-old Senegalese striker joined Bavaria on a loan estimated at 17 million euros, with a conditional purchase option of around 67 million. This depended in particular on playing time objectives which the player ultimately did not achieve during the season.
Sportingly, Jackson’s performance in the Bundesliga remained mixed. Author of 6 goals and 2 assists in 19 league matches (28 appearances in all competitions), he never managed to establish himself sustainably in the Bavarian rotation.
