In recent days, a new scandal has broken out in Italy linked to clandestine parties. It all started with an investigation carried out by the Milan public prosecutor’s office targeting a network of clandestine organization of private parties combining escorts, luxury hotels and the consumption of illicit substances, including nitrous oxide. Since then, a large list of football players potentially involved has been revealed by the Italian press. A list which notably includes Rafael Leao, AC Milan striker.

On his social networks, the Portuguese international broke his silence on this affair. “In recent days, my name, like that of other players, has appeared on sites, social networks and in newspapers in connection with an investigation by the Milan prosecutor’s office. I would like to make it clear that I am completely unrelated to the facts that are the subject of this investigation. I am not involved and I have not committed any offense. I invite everyone to avoid associating my name with this situation in an arbitrary or superficial manner, without concern for the truth or respect for privacy. Before being footballers, we are people with a family and a reputation. This is why I have already mandated my lawyer to defend me in all instances against those who will continue to disseminate false information or damage my reputation. »
