As expected for several months, Luis Enrique has reached an agreement with Parisian leaders to extend his contract with PSG.

The beautiful story between Luis Enrique and PSG is here to stay. Arriving in the summer of 2023 on the Parisian bench, the Spanish coach is in the process of extending his lease with the capital club.

According to journalist Romain Collet Gaudin, the former midfielder would have agreed with his managers to extend until 2030 and thus align with Luis Campos, who recently signed a new contract until 2030.

Since his arrival in Paris, Luis Enrique’s record at the head of PSG is, to say the least, eloquent, culminating in the Champions League crown won last spring against Inter Milan and the sextuplet that followed with the European Super Cup and the Intercontinental Cup.

An extension and a nice salary increase

And if PSG abandoned the Coupe de France and will have to work until the end to retain their crown in Ligue 1, the Parisians qualified for the third time in a row for the semi-finals of the Champions League where a major challenge awaits them against Bayern Munich.

This contract extension should be accompanied by a significant contract increase which should make him one of the three highest paid coaches on the continent. And while he is settled with his family in Saint-Germain-en Laye, the native of Asturias should move to be closer to the capital.
