While Bournemouth’s current coach – Andoni Iraola – has officially been announced as leaving at the end of the season by his club, the Premier League outfit are already looking for his replacement. According to Sky Sportsthe English club would have a list of three candidates, but the big favorite would be a certain Marco Rose (49 years old). The former German coach, who has already coached at Red Bull Salzburg, Borussia Mönchengladbach, Borussia Dortmund and Leipzig, is indeed free to take over the reins of the Cherries.
The second candidate is Kieran McKenna (39 years old). Currently, he coaches Ipswich Town (2nd in the Championship and well on his way to the Premier League), and remains a serious prospect for the leaders. Finally, Inigo Pérez remains an option, since he was Iraola’s former assistant when he was at Rayo Vallecano. Now, the objective of the team (11th in the ranking) is to continue the momentum of a stable and ambitious project to challenge the big clubs in the championship. It remains to be seen whether those in charge will rely on youth or experience.
