RB Leipzig has clearly hardened its position in the Yan Diomandé (19 years old) case. According to Sky Sportsthe German club is now demanding more than 100 million euros for its young striker, whose value continues to rise after a very notable season. Initially recruited for around 20 million euros from Leganés, the Ivorian saw his rating explode. He is having a very good season on an individual level with 13 goals and 7 assists in all competitions.

In a context where qualification for the Champions League is still possible, Leipzig is no longer obliged to sell and is even considering an extension accompanied by a salary increase to secure its player beyond 2030. A firm position, while several European clubs are already on the lookout, notably Liverpool, which is looking for a successor to Mohamed Salah. Despite this growing interest, the German club remains clear: Diomandé is not untouchable, but only a very large check can open the door to a departure.
