Loaned with option to purchase by OM since the last winter transfer window, Ulisses Garcia scored his first goal in Serie A, in the Sassuolo jersey. The Swiss full-back controlled the ball perfectly with his chest after a poor clearance in the penalty area. He sent a sharp and powerful shot from distance which lodged in the side net, surprising Caprile.

Since his arrival at the Neroverdi, Ulisses Garcia has continued to impress in Fabio Grosso’s system. With 1 goal scored and 1 assist delivered, the former Young Boys player is having a good time in Italy. As a reminder, he is still under contract with OM until June 30, 2028 despite a probable purchase option soon exercised by Sassuolo.
