After Ligue 1 and La Liga, it’s time for Serie A. The Team has just revealed the salary hierarchy in the Italian championship and it is clearly dominated by a Juventus player: Dusan Vlahovic. He is in the lead with €1.85 million gross monthly, ahead of Lautaro Martinez at Inter Milan (€1.39 million) and Paulo Dybala at AS Roma (€1.08 million) who complete the podium. On the French side, as revealed by the sports daily, Marcus Thuram and Mike Maignan benefit from an advantageous net salary in Italy, higher than that of Christopher Nkunku or Adrien Rabiot, despite a lower gross.
But in this rather crowded tricolor landscape, a surprise emerges and it is called Maxence Caqueret (26 years old). The former Olympique Lyonnais player is among the best-paid French players in the championship with around €6.67 million annually, even though he has not been a starter at Como since his arrival. The Lombard club seems to have become ambitious, since it is one of the six clubs represented in the top 20 with Inter Milan (8 players), Juventus (5), Naples (3), AC Milan (2) then AS Roma (1).
