Due to anti-Semitic remarks made by Kanye West in recent years, Tottenham refuses to allow the artist to perform in their stadium.

As part of his European tour, Kanye West plans to give concerts in England. The man who now calls himself “Ye” asked the Tottenham club to perform at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

According to the Daily Mailthe leaders of the English club were categorically opposed to this project. Historically linked to the Jewish community, the group based in the northern suburbs of London has never digested the anti-Semitic comments made by the American rapper.

During the year 2023, the former husband of Kim Kardashian sparked a heated controversy by declaring in particular that he “loved the Nazis”. A few months later, the Chicago-born artist apologized to the Jewish community, highlighting his bipolar disorder.

Kanye West is not welcome at Spurs

In the wake of Tottenham’s refusal, Kanye West was announced to headline the Wireless Festival. He should therefore sing in front of 150,000 people during the open-air festival organized in Finsbury Park, London, from July 10 to 12.

“The Jewish community will want to see sincere repentance and change before believing that the appropriate venue to test that sincerity is the main stage of the Wireless Festival,” responded Phil Rosenberg, president of the Board of Deputies of British Jews.
