This Sunday evening, Real Madrid hosts Atlético de Madrid for a decisive derby in La Liga. Real Madrid, still second in the championship, must win to avoid letting Barça take the lead. For this shock, the Merengues will be able to count on the return of Kylian Mbappé. Álvaro Arbeloa should start him at the forefront of the attack alongside Vinícius Jr, supported by Arda Güler. The midfielder will be solidly composed of Valverde, Tchouaméni and Pitarch. In defense, Carreras should find his left lane, while Trent will occupy the right flank, with the Rüdiger–Huijsen hinge. In the absence of Thibaut Courtois, victim of an injury, it is Andriy Lunin who should keep the Real Madrid cages this evening.

On the Atlético de Madrid side, Diego Simeone should rely on his usual defensive solidity with Musso in goal, accompanied by Ruggeri on the left and Llorente on the right flank. Hancko and Giménez should take care of the axis of defense. In the middle, Koke and Cardoso should start, as should Baena and Simeone on the wings. In attack, without Griezmann, the Sorløth-Álvarez duo should be renewed.
