Kylian Mbappé continues his diversification in tech. The Real Madrid striker formalized his entry into the capital of the French unicorn Alan, specializing in health insurance, on the occasion of the company’s 10th anniversary celebrated at the Quai Branly Museum. The investment was made via its Coalition Capital fund as part of a 100 million euro fundraising, valuing the startup at 5 billion euros. The exact amount of his participation has not been revealed but it is presented as “significant” by co-founder and CEO Jean-Charles Samuelian.
Beyond the financial investment, Kylian Mbappé also becomes an ambassador for the company and will participate in the development of new health prevention services for users of the application. This collaboration includes sporting challenges, content around well-being routines and personalized recommendations via the company’s health assistant. This is a new commitment to French Tech for the captain of the French team, already an investor and ambassador for the fantasy football startup Sorare.
