At the head of Como, Cesc Fàbregas continues to shape an ambitious and resolutely modern project. Impressed by the style, organization and training methods of Bodø/Glimt, the Spanish technician invited the Norwegian staff to an in-depth discussion, with a particular emphasis on nutrition. The objective of this surprise interview was to set up a system to optimize recovery and prevent injuries, drawing inspiration in particular from the practices of Uno-X Mobility, the WorldTour reference in terms of managing physical stress through diet. Already equipped with an internal application allowing players’ eating habits to be monitored, even on rest days, the Lombard club intends to further refine its scientific approach to performance.

Fàbregas’ project is not limited to dietetics. Faithful to his philosophy, the former Spanish international midfielder relies heavily on youth, aiming to build a mini-Masia like FC Barcelona. The Como U19s are currently dominating their championship and the club is investing heavily in training, analyzing profiles on technical, physical and behavioral levels. At the same time, technological innovation occupies a central place with the installation of a giant screen at the Mozzate training center to correct placements and distances live, using images captured by drone. A method already experimented by Luis Enrique at PSG which symbolizes the obsession with detail and continuous progress cultivated by the Catalan technician.
