Martin Demichelis appointed coach of a La Liga club

18th in La Liga, Mallorca announced this week the dismissal of its coach Jagoba Arrasate. The Spanish coach arrived at the club in the summer of 2024 and even led the Islanders to a solid tenth place in his first season. His departure was quickly filled, since Mallorca formalized this Thursday the appointment of Martin Demichelis to its bench.

“Martín Demichelis, new coach of RCD Mallorca. The Argentine coach has signed a contract until the end of the season, with an option for an additional year.we can read in the Mallorca press release. The former Bayern Munich and Manchester City defender coached River Plate (2022-2024), then CF Monterrey (2024-2025).
