Big blow for OM

Hit in a knee against Metz last Friday, Geoffrey Kondogbia will miss several weeks of competition.

Bad news for OM. Recruited this summer for 8 million euros, Geoffrey Kondogbia is already on the flank. The former Colchonero injured his left knee following a poor reception in Metz (2-2), Friday evening, on the occasion of the 2nd day of Ligue 1.

The 30-year-old midfielder underwent further examinations on Tuesday which revealed, according to The Team, sprained knee. The Franco-Central African should thus be out of it for about six weeks.

Definitely, Geoffrey Kondogbia is having a difficult start in his new colors. Before getting injured, the ex-Monegasque received a card on the lawn of Panathinaikos, during the 3rd preliminary round of the Champions League.
