Parma enjoyed a valuable success on the Bentegodi pitch by winning 2-1 against Hellas Verona, the red lantern still in difficulty. Carlos Cuesta’s men, 15th before kick-off, struck first thanks to Pellegrino, an opportunist in the area (18th). The Veronese, who thought they had opened the score in the 9th minute by Orban before the goal was canceled by VAR, struggled to react for a long time before Giovane equalized with a cross shot (65th). But Parma found the resources to regain the advantage at the end of the match, Pellegrino scoring a saving double (80th).

Still 20th, Paolo Zanetti’s Hellas continues to sink into a worrying spiral despite some encouraging sequences. Parma, more realistic and better organized, leaves Verona with an essential victory in the race to maintain. The match was played at the Stadio Marcantonio Bentegodi, in front of a crowd frustrated to see their team once again give in in the last quarter of an hour.
