During the last three meetings of the French team, the Blues have not played at the Stade de France at home. Relocated to the Parc des Princes, Didier Deschamps’ men should quickly return to the lair of Saint-Denis. Indeed, GL Events, concessionaire of the Ile-de-France stadium, has reached an agreement with the FFF for the concession of the stadium. The outlines of this lease were drawn up on the basis of a 30-year concession.
While the Stade de France will be renovated until 2030, there will be a less sustained pace than after this renovation initially. The two organizations have agreed on a cycle of 8 matches over two years. Thus, six matches for the Blues will be played at the Stade de France while the two Coupe de France finals will also be played in Saint-Denis. With this new contract, the FFF will no longer lose money as reported RMC.
