Arsenal held in check by Sunderland earlier in the day (2-2), Chelsea took the opportunity to gain some ground at the expense of Wolverhampton.

Thanks to the achievements of Malo Gusto (51e), Joao Pedro (65e) and Pedro Neto (73e) in the second half, the Blues won 3-0 at Stamford Bridge.

A success which allows the Londoners to come back six lengths from their Gunners counterparts, leaders of the English elite. With one point ahead of Manchester City and two lengths of margin compared to Liverpool – two rivals expected on the lawns of the kingdom this Sunday.
