For these two preparation matches for the World Cup, Carlo Ancelotti did not hesitate for a single second to coach Vinicius. His former player at Real Madrid was however involved in a controversy recently, with a spat with Xabi Alonso, which ended with an apology from the player.

In the offensive sector, where the big absentees are Neymar (Santos) and Antony (Betis), Vinicius will be supported by Estêvão (Chelsea), João Pedro (Chelsea), Luiz Henrique (Zenit), Matheus Cunha (Manchester United), Richarlison (Tottenham), Rodrygo (Real Madrid) and Vitor Roque (Palmeiras).
