Traveling on the pitch of Hellas Verona, on the occasion of the 10th day of Serie A, Inter Milan waited for added time to validate the three points and climb to second place in the standings (1-2). In a match dominated from start to finish by the visitors, the Nerazzurri opened the scoring thanks to the Pole Piotr Zieliński from a corner, before the young Brazilian Giovani equalized before the break following a counter-attack.

Christian Chivu’s players then multiplied the chances and the strikes, without however managing to completely worry goalkeeper Lorenzo Montipò. It was finally the central defender of Hellas, Martin Frese, who clumsily deflected the ball with his head into his own goal, while trying to clear a cross from Nicolò Barella. With this setback, the locals are first relegated with 5 points.
