This London derby was generally dominated by Chelsea (15 shots to 3, 9 attempts on target to 1), who took the advantage a quarter of an hour before half-time, thanks to a goal from João Pedro (34th) on a serve from Caicedo. In the second half, Enzo Maresca’s men could have added to the score, but the Blues came across a very good Guglielmo Vicario. Chelsea therefore left the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium with the three points of victory, for the third consecutive season, and entered the top 4, with the same number of points as their opponent of the evening, third.
