A close friend of the France team raised the case of Ousmane Dembélé as the next rally approaches.

The new international break is approaching and the France team must prepare for two decisive matches in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers: the reception of Ukraine on November 13 at the Parc des Princes, then a trip to Azerbaijan on November 16. Didier Deschamps will reveal his list on November 6, and the big question concerns the presence of Ousmane Dembélé and Désiré Doué.

Last September, both players suffered injuries in Ukraine. They missed several weeks of competition with PSG and were also absent from the Blues gathering in October, where Bradley Barcola was called up and then released by the staff.

“It is selectable”

For the next gathering, the two Parisians should be part of the list, reveals The Team. Both have returned to the field in recent weeks, with Désiré Doué having resumed a little earlier than the 2025 Ballon d'Or. “If he plays, he is selectable”assures a close friend of the French team to the daily sports newspaper, mentioning Dembélé.

For the moment, the Parisian number 10 has only made two appearances, in Leverkusen (2-7) and in Brest (0-3). Between now and the Blues' next match, PSG will play four matches (Lorient, Nice, Bayern Munich and Lyon) during which Dembélé should regain rhythm. Didier Deschamps seems to want to count on these two players for the next two crucial confrontations.
