It becomes clear for the Girondins de Bordeaux

Back in business in the championship – with seven points conceded out of a possible nine over the last three days – the Girondins de Bordeaux have thus moved to just two lengths from the summit, which is synonymous with promotion.

Resident of National 2, the FCGB enforced the logic of the hierarchy this Saturday in Périgueux against Etoile Sportive de Boulazac, a Regional 1 team, during the 6e round of the Coupe de France. Thanks to four goals scored in the second period (0-4).

With a third consecutive clean sheet, Bordeaux is invited to the 7e senior level of competition. A stadium which will see Ligue 2 clubs enter the fray. The Girondins will be decided on their fate this Wednesday, October 29.
