A complaint was filed with UEFA by Atlético Madrid against Arsenal because of… a shower problem!

This is information to be taken literally. On the sidelines of the clash of the 3rd day of the Champions League between Arsenal and Atlético Madrid, Tuesday evening (9 p.m.), the Colchoneros filed a complaint against the Gunners because of a problem that was unusual to say the least.

As revealed by the Cadena Ser as well as Marcathe changing rooms at the Emirates Stadium, the London club's stadium built in 2006, no longer had hot water. Enough to provoke the indignation of the Madrid staff, after training in the English rain on Monday, who was forced to return to the hotel to take the showers.

Arsenal, the cold shower

The story could have ended there, but the anger was too great on the Atlético side. The club does not understand how a stadium as modern as the Emirates could suffer this type of problem. For its part, Arsenal has “acknowledged the error that occurred in the locker room”explain Marca.

A complaint was therefore still filed with UEFA, just a few hours before a decisive match. One thing is certain, the possible loser of this match between the 5th and 10th in the C1 rankings will see their hopes of reaching the top 8 dashed.
