A goal and an assist, that’s Harry Kane’s record for his first Bundesliga match with Bayern on Friday against Werder Bremen.
Historic Bayern rookie, at more than 100 million euros, Harry Kane had not saved his new team from a rout in the German Super Cup, coming into play at the end of the match, last week, against Leipzig (0-3). This time around, the English striker started the defending champion’s first game at Werder Bremen on Friday night and played a major part in his team’s victory.
Leroy Sané opened the entry scoring, following a dazzling one-two with Harry Kane (4th). It was not until the last quarter of an hour of play to see the formation of Thomas Tuchel take off, thanks to the captain of England for his first German goal, with a dry strike (74th). At the end of the match, Sané offered himself a double (90th), before a missile from Mathys Tel for the 4-0 (94th)
