A few months before the municipal elections in Paris, PSG is carefully examining the results before making a decision on its future stadium. According to Daniel Riolo, who spoke in theAfter Foot on RMC Wednesday, the club would consider moving to Poissy (Yvelines) if the town hall continues to refuse to sell the Parc des Princes to expand it. “It’s almost a done deal for Poissy if things go wrong in the municipal elections”Riolo clarified, adding that the Park would then remain intended for women, the Youth League, corporate events and concerts.
Paris town hall has said it is open to an expansion of the Parc des Princes, but discussions remain at a standstill. Daniel Riolo described what a renovated Parc des Princes could look like: 53,000 seats, reinforced roof, rooftop, museum and large store in the stadium, currently located at the Jean-Bouin stadium. In the event of PSG moving, Paris FC would not be able to play at the Parc, Nasser Al-Khelaïfi refusing this option from the start.
