Like his Real Madrid teammates, Vinicius Junior was not entitled to a long vacation this summer. But once the Club World Cup was over, the Brazilian took the time to party and celebrate his birthday. Except he did it a little too loudly for his neighbors' liking. He now finds himself facing the justice of his country for having “disturbed the work or peace of others”.
The information was reported this Wednesday by Marca who explained that the affair was linked to the big birthday party organized by Vinicius Junior in Rio de Janeiro. It was therefore a neighbor of the Brazilian player who filed a complaint after suffering the noise consequences of the event.
To celebrate his twenty-fifth birthday, Vinicius organized a party which lasted from July 19 to 21 in the morning. The barnum took place in a residence dedicated to this type of festive events. But this time, the participants would have gone a little overboard. According to the Brazilian media O Globono less than 500 guests were present. Concerts, fireworks and attractions were on the program.
Vinicius faces up to three months in prison
Seized of the case, the Ninth Special Criminal Court of Rio will be responsible for rendering its verdict. In his complaint, and as cited by the Spanish media, the neighbor indicated that he contacted the military police who came to observe the shouts and loud music. The latter asked that the volume be lowered. Vinicius and his guests complied, but according to the complainant, the volume of nuisance increased once the police left.
A preliminary hearing is already scheduled for November 6. Vinicius Junior risks a sentence of between fifteen days and three months in prison, or a simple fine.
