OM: Gouiri, the big worry

The presence of Amine Gouiri with Olympique de Marseille against Le Havre this Saturday in Ligue 1 could be compromised. Established on the front of Algeria's attack this Tuesday against Uganda (2-1) during the qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup, the Marseille striker suffered a shock to the head and shoulder with the opposing goalkeeper, Salim Magoola.

The former Rennais began a concussion protocol before leaving the pitch on a stretcher, conscious. Already injured in the shoulder earlier in the season, the Isérois should be spared by the Marseille medical staff.

Aguerd scenario for Gouiri?

OM have already faced a similar situation this season with Nayef Aguerd. The Moroccan central defender was hit in the head during an aerial duel against FC Lorient (4-0).

The Atlas Lion missed the trip to the Bernabéu for the clash against Real Madrid in the Champions League. And a comparable scenario could happen again for Gouiri.
