It is with an ever more credible underdog costume that the Netherlands is approaching the 2026 World Cup. Thursday evening, the Oranje took a further step towards America by largely winning against Malta in their qualifying campaign for the World Cup (4-0). The second match of this gathering reserves tougher adversity since it is Finland who will cross paths with the Dutch.

Third in its group tied with Poland (10 points), the Scandinavian team does not swim in the same waters as its host of the day, but it will try to make a success thanks to a very precise game plan. Nothing to scare the big Dutch individuals, like Memphis Depay, top scorer in the history of the selection, his attacking friend Coby Gakpo or the essential defensive rock Virgil van Dijk.

The expected compositions

The Netherlands : Verbruggen; Dumfries, Van Hecke, Van Dijk, Van de Ven; Gravenberch, De Jong, Reijnders; Frimpong, Memphis Depay, Gakpo.

Finland: Joronen; Alho, Tenho, Koski, Uronen; Lod, Kairinen, Markhiyev; Kallman, Pohjanpalo, Antman.

Where to watch the match?
