After Moises Caicedo this summer and Enzo Fernandez last winter, Chelsea paid 67 million euros to afford Roméo Lavia, the Belgian midfielder from Southampton.
And a new reinforcement for Chelsea! After spending more than 100 million euros twice to recruit Enzo Fernandez and Moises Caicedo, the Blues have once again broken the piggy bank for a midfielder, offering themselves Roméo Lavia for 67 million euros.
The 19-year-old Belgian midfielder, who played for Southampton, was also courted by Liverpool, but like Caicedo he chose to join London. Lavia signed a 7-year contract.
In this sector of the game, Chelsea have also recruited Rennais Lesley Ugochukwu for 27 million euros, and can always count on Conor Gallagher, Carney Chukwuemeka or Marley Santos.
