The disaster is confirmed for French football

The trend is far from being favorable to French football in the UEFA index.

The elimination of OM from the 3e preliminary round of the Champions League has done a lot of damage to French football. And for good reason. For ten days the Netherlands have stolen fifth place in the UEFA nations ranking from France; and the gap widened with the early failure of the Olympians, thus donated to the Europa League. A less generous competition than the C1 to enlarge the famous UEFA index.

On the eve of the continental play-offs, France therefore finds itself in sixth European level with a total of 50,747 points when Dutch football, fifth, displays 52,400 units.
