Ansu Fati is making promising beginnings with AS Monaco. Loaned by FC Barcelona with a purchase option set at 11 million euros, the Spanish striker has already scored four goals in four games in his new colors.

A first assessment which confirms the predictions of an old Monegasque and Blaugrana, Javier Saviola. The latter is convinced that the Principality club represents an ideal setting to allow the former Barcelona nugget to revive, after several seasons slowed down by injuries. “I played a year in Monaco, this is the ideal place so that he can focus only on football”, explained the Argentinian.

Monaco found his new secret weapon

The Monegasque cloakroom is already won over. “He's a good person. Very nice and smiling, he quickly adapted to the team, and beyond that he is a great player. It is very very strong. He has a big technical quality and he is very intelligent in the field. You can only learn with people like that ”says Kassoum Ouattara. Takumi Minamino shares the same observation: “It's a real strength to be able to count on him. He is intelligent in his movements, very technical and already decisive. It's like training, technically it's very very high level! »» Finally Krépin Diatta greets the mind of his young teammate:“We know that he has quality, he shows it on a daily basis and it shows on the ground. He worked hard and it was deserved after all his efforts. »»

Regarding his positioning, his coach Adi Hütter already has a precise idea of the role he wishes to entrust to him:
“His best position, currently, is in number 9 mobile. I think he can really be decisive in crucial moments, as he showed us. He is also able to play on one side or in 10. I was amazed by his return because after a long injury, it is never simple. It is clinical in front of the cages and has an impressive impact. »» All the ingredients therefore seem to be gathered so that the success of Ansu Fati continues on the rock. It remains to be seen if the planets will continue to line up.
