The last hours of Ruben Amorim?

If the Portuguese coach does not impose himself against Sunderland, he could lose his post. “I am not naive” dropped the coach of the Red Devils, aware that if he cannot win, he will not be able to keep his role for a long time. Amorim has also tackled the old legends of Old Trafford who criticize his system and influence the players' mindset. “This is my fight with the players. I don't want to change my system. They must believe in what I do. I understand what I do and I know my players. I have never asked legends to tell me what to change or criticize instead of encouraging ”.

The Super League wants a new formula
The Super League has made a new proposal to UEFA! UEFA and A22, the company that represents the Super League, and the representatives of FC Barcelona and Real Madrid have led negotiations in complete confidentiality in recent months to discuss a new formula for the competition. In the new format proposed to UEFA, relayed by Mundo DeportivoLa Super League offers an improved version of the Champions League. It consists in separating the 36 clubs from the current Champions League into two groups which will be found in a direct elimination phase. Group 1 would be made up of the 18 best classified clubs at the UEFA coefficient, in which the first 8 qualify directly for the round of 16. The classified teams from the 9th to the 18th must compete for a dam against the best teams in group 2.. This would bring together the other 18 qualified clubs. But even finishing in mind, no team can access the eighths directly. To continue the competition, they must win a dam against a less well -classified team in group 1, as is currently the case. A format that would promote the largest teams while allowing all the teams committed to win the competition.
