The nightmare continues for Paris. While Luis Enrique was already juggling with an infirmary packed, two new tiles fell this Saturday during the match against Auxerre. The massacre which falls on the Parisian workforce takes dramatic proportions of four days of the crucial shock against FC Barcelona in the Champions League.

Vitinha and Kvaratskhelia affected before the break

Vitinha experienced an emotional elevator in three minutes. Captain of the PSG in the absence of Marquinhos, the Portuguese environment delivered a perfect decisive pass for Zabarnyi in the 32nd minute before having to give up his place in the 35th minute. Physically hit, he spoke with the doctor of the Quentin Vincent club on the bench, leaving his armband in Achraf Hakimi who replaced him.

A few minutes later, it was Khvicha Kvaratskhelia's turn to give cold sweats to the Parisian staff. The Georgian international ended the first period “on one leg”, visibly embarrassed by a probable injury to the hamstring. Its exit at halftime inevitable state (for the benefit of Barcola), adding one more name to the Parisian black list.

Barcelona moves away dangerously

For KVaratskhelia, the first estimates evoke an absence of about three weeks, which will automatically compromise its participation in the Barcelona trip. The former Neapolitan, a key element of the Luis Enrique device on the left wing, joins the long list of packages for this major European meeting.

Regarding Vitinha, uncertainty remains total. No specific information has filtered on the nature and severity of his injury. The Portuguese, a pillar of the Parisian middle and evening captain, nevertheless represents an essential link in the Luis Enrique system. His package would be added to those already confirmed by Marquinhos, João Neves, Désiré Doué and Ousmane Dembélé, transforming this trip to Barcelona on an almost impossible mission for a decimated PSG.
