In an interview with France FootballOusmane Dembélé returned to his offensive role at PSG and his repositioning under Luis Enrique. “It is with the partners, with the coach who also gives me some advice. I try to go into free space, in the back of the defender, to stand out. It is a position that I know, that I really like, it is very tactical. I prefer to be free electron only on the side, even if that does not prevent me from going there. We swap a lot. Our attackers are practically only training wings ”he explained.

Ousmane Dembélé has always been considered a pure right winger since his beginnings, whether in Barça, where he was even pushed Raphinha on the left wing, in Dortmund or in the French team. Only Luis Enrique knew how to see in him an ability to play as a false number 9 and to turn into a real scorer, as we can see more and more in Spanish football. The Frenchman underlines that his ability to swap and occupy different offensive spaces allows him to maximize his impact and fully express his football, while adapting to the movements of his partners.
