PL: Liverpool dominates Everton and wins the Mersey derby

Liverpool took an excellent start in this Mersey derby by dominating Everton as soon as the scoring is opened. In the 10th minute, Gravenberch unlocked the counter thanks to a superb half-volley after a stung ball of Salah. Liverpool continued to push, with Salah close to the bar in the 16th minute, before Ekitiké doubles the 29th minute on a beautiful opening of Gravenberch, putting the Reds in a favorable position before the break.

In the second half, Everton returned to the match, taking advantage of a well -constructed action involving Grenish and Ndiaye. In the 58th minute, Gueye reduced the gap with an unstoppable cross strike for Alisson, relaunching the suspense. Liverpool has however managed to keep his advantage despite some alerts, including an overly soft attempt by Salah in the 56ᵉ minute, to finally win (2-1) and consolidate his place at the top of the ranking
