Manchester United announced a record turnover of 665.5 million pounds sterling, or around 768.5 million euros. Despite a net loss of € 33 million during the worst season in its history in the Premier League, ending in 15th place. The club still recorded unprecedented income on match days as well as on the commercial level, thanks in particular to the partnership with Snapdragon.
Managing Director Omar Berrada insisted on the solidity of the institution according to The Daily Mail :: “Generate record income in such a difficult year demonstrates resilience that is the strength of Manchester United”. He stressed that the new organization, now more “Rationalized”was to support the club's sporting and commercial ambitions, while confirming the continuation of investments in infrastructure, with the renovation of Carrington and the new stadium project in Old Trafford.
