As we revealed to you exclusively last week, Olympique de Marseille continues to look for a way out for the Ukrainian midfielder, Ruslan Malinovskyi (30), only six months after his arrival in Bouches-du-Rhône. Italian club Torino had been in pole position for several days and even made the former Atalanta player a top priority to complete their attacking rotation alongside Nikola Vlašić. But discussions are still stuck between Torino and OM because of the price of the transaction linked to the purchase option. According to our information, new Italian teams have joined the dance to thwart Torino’s projects: Genoa, Monza and Bologna are closely monitoring the Ruslan Malinovskyi file.

According to our indiscretions, the Torino is even starting to look for alternatives and to draw up a list of several players to secure their backs. Negotiations are very advanced with Bologna for the transfer of Musa Barrow (24). The Turin management has also checked the profiles of Dennis Praet, Aleksey Miranchuk and Walid Cheddira to strengthen its offensive lines. The track could therefore be abandoned by the Piedmontese, even if a final offer to OM is in preparation for Malinovskyi. Moreover, with additional suitors, Pablo Longoria and Javier Ribalta could well increase their demands to 12/13 million euros. As a reminder, Ruslan Malinovskyi is still pushing internally for a return to Italy and has indeed found a total agreement with the seven-time Italian champions. Note that the Turkish club Besiktas has not dropped the case either.
