Saint-Étienne unrolls, Reims finally unlocks!

Ligue 2 continues. For the second day, three posters were on the program this Saturday. The Reims stadium received Guingamp at the Auguste-Delaune stadium, Dunkirk moved to Dijon to face Annecy, while AS Saint-Etienne welcomed Rodez in the cauldron.

After a draw brought back from Amiens at the opening (2-2), Reims signed his first official victory of the season by winning 1-0 against EAG. The decisive goal intervened in the 10th minute: Tiemokho Diarra has taken over a millimeter center of Teddy Teuma. This is also the first Rémois success since April 20 and the victory against Toulouse (1-0).

In the other 2 p.m. meeting, Annecy was held in check by Dunkirk (2-2). Deprived of its sports park under construction, the Savoyard club seemed to be off to the first half of 2-0 in the first half, but the Maritimes reacted perfectly in the second period to snatch the draw.

For its part, ASSE delivered a recital against Rodez this Saturday evening, a week after its draw against Laval (3-3). The Greens won 4-0 in front of their audience, with goals from Joshua Duffus (27th), Mahmoud Jaber (47th), Irvin Cardona (56th) and Zuriko Davitashvili (79th). All players contributed to this collective demonstration.

Thanks to this large victory, Saint-Étienne seizes the head of the ranking and clearly displays its ambitions for an express rise in Ligue 1. Tomorrow, Montpellier, which remains on a draw against the Red Star, will move to Le Mans and could try to delight first place to the Stéphanois.
