While the transfer of Ousmane Dembélé to Paris Saint-Germain from FC Barcelona was formalized this Saturday morning, La Liga decided to counterattack by filing a complaint against the Parisian club with the European Commission. In addition, the governing body of Spanish football considers that the subsidies received by the club from Qatar distort the market and go against the regulations on subsidies of the European Union, as specified by several Iberian media.
La Liga has therefore decided to file a letter with the European Commission to complain about the financing mechanisms used by Paris Saint-Germain during this transfer window and even previous ones. These would generate a serious distortion of the internal market of the European Union according to the same Spanish media.
