This little game is certainly quite subjective, but each season several players won as natural candidates for the very unofficial title of worst recruit of the year. And for 2025, it may be FC Nantes who won the timpani.
Obliged to sell a lot (Zézé, Simon, Douglas Augusto, perhaps waiting for Abline), and to recruit at a slightest blow, the Canaries had bet at the end of June on defender Uros Radakovic. And the Serbian is so far from the expected level that it could be pushed towards the exit even before the first day of the championship.
According to information from Ouest-France, confirmed in the process by Ocean Press and the Team, the FCN is already looking to separate from its recruit, which would have tracks in the Gulf.
Radakovic, the new Douglao?
Radakovic remains on two consecutive relegations in Türkiye, with Ankaraguçu then Sivasspor, which was not a good sign, but his profile had been validated by the new coach Luis Castro. Obviously, the 31 -year -old showed too much feverishness and slowness during the first preparation matche to be kept. And too bad if the Portuguese coach lacks solutions to this position after the departures of Zézé, Pallois and Castelletto.
Radakovic could therefore join in the “legend” FC Nantes players like Michael Gravgaard or Douglao, to name only central defenders. Even if the Canaries supporters, a priori, will not have the “pleasure” to see him evolve on the lawn of the Beaujoire.
