For several days, his name has been circulating insistently on the side of Toulouse: Saud Abdulhamid, a Saudi international right side, has been in the process of joining the TFC. Arrived at AS Rome a year ago, the 26 -year -old defender, little used this season (8 appearances), seems ready to try a new adventure. Despite a profile appreciated by the Roman management, it is a loan with purchase option which is today in advanced discussion with the TFC. The interest of the RC Lens has existed, but it was Toulouse who holds the rope, and above all, who would have convinced the player.

But the file remains for the moment on stand-by. AS Rome is delayed, while waiting to finalize the arrival of its future right side, the Brazilian Wesley França, from Flamengo. The latter still has to obtain his visa and pass his medical examination before being officially inducted. Administrative deadlines which slow down the outcome of a transfer however well put together. Toulouse, for its part, remains confident. The former Al-Hilal, Saud Abdulhamid has agreed to join the club, seduced by the Toulouse project and the opportunity to relaunch his career in Ligue 1.
