Another blow for Marc-André Ter Stegen. After only playing 9 games in 2024-2025 due to a breeding of the patella, the German goalkeeper will, most likely, have to have an operation to solve back problems with which he has been the victim since the start of the pre-season. Sport explains that the doctors advised surgery to the 33 -year -old porter, without which no healing would be guaranteed.

This would mean an absence of about four months for Ter Stegen. The news could shake up the future of German at FC Barcelona. Pushed towards the exit by the Blaugranas, it will now be more difficult to find a way out. It is under contract until June 2028.
