Thierry Henry could well become the future coach of the France Espoirs team.

The France Espoirs team still does not have a coach since the official departure of Sylvain Ripoll. One year before the Paris Olympics, the FFF must appoint a new coach for Bleuets after the ousting of Sylvain Ripoll. Several candidates have been cited, among others Jocelyn Gourvennec, Julien Stéphan, Philippe Montanier, Rémi Garde, Sabri Lamouchi, but none of them has yet been named.

But now the name of a new suitor is added to the list. This is Thierry Henry, informs us RMC Sports. And as Mohamed Toubache-Ter indicates on Twitter, the 98 world champion spoke on Monday in video with Marc Keller, head of youth selections, and Hubert Fournier, National Technical Director. Both are charged by the president of the FFF Philippe Diallo to choose the new driver of the Espoirs.

Henry’s decision to take on the managerial role may necessitate a reshuffling of his work commitments. Consultant for Prime Video in France and for the American channel CBS (from England), the former Arsenal player must first free himself from his contractual obligations before he can return to service on a bench. He could therefore well be the future coach of the France Espoirs team.
