There are only a handful of days left at Atlético Madrid before returning to La Liga, it will be next Monday against Granada. While waiting for the resumption of the Spanish championship, the Madrid club is far from having finished with the transfer rumors. In addition to Joao Felix, pushed to the exit and whose future remains undecided, Madrid coach Diego Simeone has recently aroused great interest in Saudi Arabia. In an interview given to brand, the Argentinian coach confirmed that he had been approached by a resident of the Saudi Pro League. On the other hand, he recalled his commitment to his current formation by indicating that he had no intention of ending his adventure on the Colchoneros bench, which he has occupied since 2011.

“No, I’m very happy where I am. I am very happy to be at Atlético Madrid. But I understand that Saudi Arabia is growing and they need to feed great players… Even if they increase their offer, I’m happy at Atlético”, retorted El Cholo. As a reminder, Diego Simeone is under contract with the residents of Civitas Metropolitano until June 2024.
