Real Madrid summer rookie Arda Güler will have to go to the pool table to treat a knee problem.

Definitely, it’s a tough day for Real Madrid. While the Merengues have lost for many months their goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois, victim of a rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament of the left knee in training, The Athletic reveals this Thursday that Arda Güler will also have to pass on the billiards.

The young Turkish attacking midfielder, recruited this summer by Real from Fenerbahçe for 40 million euros, suffers from the meniscus of his right knee. An arthroscopy is therefore scheduled to clean this joint. However, this is a rather minor surgery, and Arda Güler could return to the pitch in five or seven weeks, says AS.
