Kylian Mbappé is not about to find the lawns of Ligue 1. Made available to the loft by PSG since his refusal to extend, and to leave the club in the event of an offer, the striker still received a first loyalty bonus of €40 million on July 31, and must pocket a second on September 1, after the end of the transfer window, of the same amount. He is obviously not to be pitied and his future is also a story of big money. On the other hand, The world tells us this Thursday that the world champion is giving up on 200 M€ by refusing to extend the contract which currently runs until 2024.

The lease initialed in May 2022 contains some financial details. In the current state of affairs, Mbappé is depriving himself of a signing bonus of €60 million gross, as well as another loyalty bonus of €55 million payable in two instalments. In addition to this comes another bonus of 9.5 M€, also adjustable in two instalments, and the gross salary of 75 M€ promised for the 2024/2025 season. It is therefore a total of 199.5 M€ which flies away, contradicting the speech of the club, affirming that the player privileges his financial interest. The latter will still receive €178 million for this 2023/2024 financial year between the bonuses provided for in his contract and his remuneration.
