Eden Hazard has reportedly received an offer from an MLS club after the former Real Madrid player refused to join Lionel Messi at Inter from Miami.

The former Belgium international, now a free agent, is looking for a new career after leaving the Spanish giants. Although Inter Miami offered him a contract, the striker chose to refuse it, preferring to stay in Europe. However, the lack of interest from the continent forced Hazard to consider other options.

According AS, the Vancouver Whitecaps (MLS) have expressed interest in Hazard’s services. The arrival of seven-time Ballon d’Or winner Messi at Inter Miami has boosted the league’s appeal, especially for elite players in the twilight of their careers. However, if Hazard does indeed join the Canadian club, he will have to agree before September 2, the deadline for the roster freeze.

Besides MLS, Hazard has potential opportunities in Brazil and the Saudi Pro League. Botafogo owner John Textor has already expressed interest in Hazard, but a move to the South American club could mean a substantial pay cut. Besides, a Saudi club have reportedly made an offer for Hazard, but he hasn’t expressed interest yet.
