For the Manchester United third shirt that its players will wear during the 2023-2024 season, adidas has decided to pay tribute to the club’s notorious nickname: the Red Devils. And for the first in over 50 years, a tunic from the three-time Champions League winner will feature the iconic red devil exclusively, instead of the traditional club crest. The German equipment manufacturer also wants to nod to the shirt worn by the winners of the 1909 FA Cup, the first of 12 raised throughout its history.

The background of the third shirt is white, to bring out the red of the various logos present on the front of the shirt, such as the red devil, the three stripes logo and the shirt sponsor Teamviewer, which despite breaking its agreement with MU, will remain on the jersey as long as the club has not yet found a new sponsor. We also find, on the left sleeve, another partner of the club in the person of DX Technologies. Both versions of the jersey (player and replica) have been made from 100% recycled materials, one of adidas’ solutions to ending plastic waste.

The new Manchester United third jersey can be found on our partner store, FOOT.FR!
